Jarvis earned more than 250 caps for England, reached a career-high world ranking of No. 22, won a silver medal at the European Team Championships, and helped Ormesby become the only English club to win the European Club Championships. He has also served as Non-Playing Captain for England's junior, men's and women's teams. The appointment is significant because Jarvis is stepping into a structured youth-development role rather than a senior national-team role. His experience as a former England No. 1 junior means he understands the exact stage young players are navigating when they move from Hopes to Academy and eventually to the national team.
